Writing Online As An Internet Author
Writing online for a living is lucrative for those who are gifted in this field. With millions of websites and blogs that are online and needing content on a regular basis, and with Internet advertising constantly requiring varied descriptions of products and services, opportunities for the online writer are never short in supply.
If you have a flair for writing, you could engage yourself in online activities that require writing articles, creating advertising phrases, and writing descriptions of various products and services that are marketed online. You could keep yourself gainfully occupied involving yourself in tasks that require the skills of a writer. There are many opportunities online for writers.
Article Writing And Revenue Sharing
There are so called article writing sites online that you could enroll with, and submit your articles. These sites are free to join and they will accept your articles provided your work is original and are of some standard.
Apart from some topics that are prohibited you could write articles on almost any topic that you fancy and these articles will be published on the site free of charge. Each article of yours will be a web page on its own with a unique web address pointing directly to it.
Article publishing sites engage advertisements from certain online businesses like Amazon, advertising giants like Google AdSense, and other reputed e-commerce bodies. Your articles too, like that of the other members of the site, will contain such advertisements.
The revenue generated when these advertisements perform will be shared by the article publishing site with the authors. The site will not charge you a membership fee or an annual fee or any kind of fee at all. Some article sites share the advertising revenue on a fifty fifty-basis, whereas there are some that even go eighty-twenty with the author.
More Opportunities For Writers
There are also other opportunities online for those with a flair for writing. Every advertisement placed on the Internet requires some kind of coherent description. Every web page needs well written text. Each and every one of the millions of blogs that are online need to be constantly refreshed with articles on the topics that the blog discusses. All these require the services of writers.
Ghost writers are in demand and there are many of them at work supplying the demands of the ever growing Internet. If you could write reasonably well, there is a chance that you could trigger off an additional income making use of this talent. That could mean some extra pocket money for you ... or even something more lucrative!
You could use your writing skills to work as a freelance writer from the comfort of your home, irrespective of your age, educational background, or experience in the field.
Getting paid to post on social media is also another way you could earn a few dollars online.
The site 'X,' previously known as 'Twitter' has a revenue sharing program which requires that you submit posts to the site on a regular basis.
The topic you select to post on, can be something on which you are an expert. Otherwise you could keep posting random phrases. Lots of people simply post their thoughts on current issues that they are addressing or an opinion on something or another.
If you are already a member of X you may be aware of these, otherwise a visit to the site is all you need to check out what kind of stuff people post over there.
When you make a post on that site and when other members interact with your posts, the advertisements that appear along with such posts earn revenue for the site. The member is paid his share of the revenue periodically.
When you log in to the site you will instantly notice that you don't need any writing skills at all to make posts there! However, having such skills is indeed highly advantageous and could put you miles ahead of others.
Log in to X and navigate to the link 'Original Content Rewards' via the column on the left. Here you will find an explanation of their revenue sharing program.
Previously I had spoken about article writing sites on the Internet that use Google AdSense to generate revenue to share with members. Unfortunately such sites do not exist at the moment, not to my knowledge though.
However, there is an article site called 'Medium' which is ideal for those who have a knack for writing. Do a Google search for 'Medium' and check it out. You may find something unique there that you have been seeking that would require the use of your special talents.
Quite apart from all these, there is a site called 'Fiverr' that enrolls people from all walks of life from all parts of the globe who have special talents. Once they enroll, the skills of these people are highlighted in specified areas on the Fiverr website, enabling them to sell their skills on a free lance basis. In fact, they are hired as free lancers.
Since you are reading this article, you obviously have writing skills and are looking for a way of earning a few extra bucks using these skills. I strongly reccomend 'Fiverr' for you. You could enroll with them and offer your skills to compose advertising phrases, and to write content for web sites.
Mind you, a whole lot of other tasks await you over there that could involve your special skills. So do a Google search for 'Fiverr' and get started!
I wish you the very best of luck and I hope you will work your way towards generating a lucrative income off the Internet working from home!
